same name.the whole bases is that the animatronics Fleegle,bingo,drooper and
snorky (played by people in suits) go haywire and kidnap the kids at the live show
and kill the adults.
The director was Danishka Esterhazy a Canadian screenwriter she based
the film on this old show is because she always thought that
show was a little unsettling.
she had dancers play the roles of the banana splits
because they would be able to best mimic the movements
of animatronic. they were terry sauls,buntu plam,Kohi Clarke
and Brandon Vnaagom.

characters
there are some side story's in the film but the one the film starts of
with the birthday of harly (Finlay Wojtak-Hissong) asks to go to
to the live showing of the banana splits show. his dad walks in
with 4 tickets for harly his mum Beth(Dani Kind) his step-brother
Andy( Daniel fox) and Harley's "best friend" next door Zoe(Maria Nash) .
These four plus show manager Paige(Naledi Majola) are the beginning main characters.
The antagonists are three of the banana splits and technically their creator
Karl( Lionel Newton) snorky the mute animatronic dose supposedly kill Harley's dad after he was found texting strange this with his co-worker behind his wife's back ,but he does help Harley and Zoe later on.
